Farmers know something that many of us forget: growth takes time. You plant a seed, water it, and wait. Days may pass with no visible change, but beneath the soil, roots are spreading and life is taking hold. (Ideally—some of us are not so blessed with green thumbs.)

Paul wrote, “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” (Galatians 6:9).

The problem isn’t that the harvest won’t come—it’s that we get tired of waiting. We pray and don’t see results. We serve and wonder if anyone notices. We share our faith and hear only silence.

But spiritual growth follows God’s timing, not ours. The seed of truth takes root in ways we can’t always see. Your quiet act of kindness, your steady faith, your patient endurance—these are seeds God is watering.

So keep planting. Keep trusting. Keep showing up. The harvest may not come when you expect, but it will come, because God is faithful to finish what He starts.
