My acquaintance with brother Eversole began when I first attended the Polishing the Pulpit lectureship in Sevierville, Tennessee in 2008. He has been a regular speaker on the program since that time and probably longer. When I began attending PTP I had never heard of nor had I ever met brother Eversole. It was the subject of his lectures that drew me in. I was very impressed with him from the first time I heard him speak. I have met him every year since 2008.
After those early encounters I invited brother Eversole to conduct a gospel meeting for us at Mabelvale. He was (and is) very busy in gospel meeting work, so I had to book him several years in advance. We had him scheduled to be here in 2020. As you will remember that was the time of the Covid-19 pandemic. Everything changed. We were forced to cancel our gospel meeting for that year. Since that time I have been able to reschedule brother Eversole, and that time is now!
